You can get into a home with a 500 credit score while making $25k a year if you don't have too much debt. Look into FHA loans if you're looking to buy home but think you wouldn't qualify.

this is not true. ya'll need to get in the real world outside the 6/6/6 folks on the coli.
most people DON'T make 70K a year.
as for a mortgage, you can get one making 30K a year if you can get approved.
How true is this statement? My parents keep insinuating that I am bum because I lack those things.
What career/job do you have? What career should people pursue? Your post is sort of depressing considering where I'm at in life:
I'm 30 years old and am unemployed/broke. I only have 30 dollars in my savings account. I live with my mother and I graduated this past December with a two year degree in Business Management. I have 60,000 in student loan debt I have to pay back as well.
traditional mortgages are 30 years... so at 30 you buy your first house, by 60 it is paid off. If you don't have any retirment, at least social security will sustain you IF your house is paid off and you have no bills.
This nikka said social security . That shyt gonna be long gone in 30 years.
I got these two pensions(IBEW & NECA).
u live in europe, so what you're talking about doesn't apply to the united states.
this is bullshyt, ive had a mortgage since I was 20, first house made me 70k profit within 2 years, and my second is almost paid off. people who talk like you are typical rentersCO F*CKIN SIGN THIS!!! and then when you do have kids and a mortgage and struggling like a mothaf*ck, where they at???! who's bright idea was it huh??
I don't why it's implemented in people's heads that they automatically gotta do this, it's like bowing down and BEGGING to be in debt when you ain't ready for all that sh*t! and here's a gem, there is nothing wrong with not having any kids and not getting married, basically you're telling everyone, "hey here's a bright idea, i don't want to be in debt and i'm good the way i am, i'm not gonna f*ck myself over with money i don't have over some "TRADITION" you guys are brainwashed for" Maybe at 40-50 everything turns out better for me and i'll take that step, how bout that huh?
Don't get in debt over unnecessary sh*t yall.
