the latter. The directors that sign on to these films aren't even making them out of passion, just for $$$$$$$$$$ and something to put on your resume. And to be fair, most of them aren't even "BAD" films. A lot are average and just serve no real cinematic purpose. Like, Look at Guardians of the Galaxy, love and passion went into making that film, Same with Nolan's films. I think Suicide Squad will be very good as well.

Don't really care about other movies

I have zero confidence in DC based on their history of letting me down

And I view this to be them admitting that they dropped the ball again the first time around and the only reason they're doing a reshoot is because they failed with the most important movie they needed to get right

I have a very strong feeling that suicide squad is going to be really good. And this is coming from someone who said the BVS trailer looked mediocre and that I did not have high expectations for that movie while the comic book fanboys were losing their minds (turns out I was right)

Civil War is filmed like a tv show and the colors look all dulled out

Plus in the new commercial I peeeped they got Widow and Hawkeye cracking jokes in the middle quote-un-quote "War"

BvS had everything it needed to maybe be the greatest superhero movie of all time, and they fukced it up

You bring up a really really good point. The one thing that I DON'T want to happen as a result of this film is Hollywood feeling like a movie can't be dark/gray/depressing and devoid of joy. The problem is many screenwriters don't understand that humor has a time and place unless you're making a movie in the comedy genre. Ironman 3 is a SHINING example of this. Even nameless henchman were cracking off tony stark esque witty comedic one liners. Tony Stark was cracking jokes while Pepper Potts is almost dying. Even in dark, serious films there is still room for humor. Even Nolan's films had funny moments. There is a time and place for humor but overdoing it can be extremely detrimental in terms of taking serious moments serious.
