DC animated is absolute piff

Can't figure out why these clowns can't get the movies right

Green Lantern
Like 2-3 Catwoman movies
3-5 Superman movies
2-3 Batman movies
Watchmen (although some people liked that foh)
Constantine (see above)

I mean it goes on and on

I like the casting for Aquaman and Suicide Squad appears to have potential... Wonder Woman seems OK now

But outside of the OG Superman & a few good Batman joints

They've put out mostly crap..

At this point I have zero faith in these mofos to deliver anything " great "

I will be watching their movies on Kodi if at all

I won't risk one penny on these clowns going forward

yeah this is moreso a time of celebration and shytting on the dc stans and marvel haters whose frustration with marvels success leaks over into insulting anyone who enjoys marvels products (which history has proven, is alot of people). they've talked their shyt about how marvel was for kids and DC was going to snatch the crown, now its time to talk that shyt back

i actually probably have given it the highest rating i've seen from people that didnt like it. right after leaving it was a 7.5 after letting it marinate it went to a 6.5 - 7. it was pretty much a transformers film in that it was nice to look at but most of everything else was mediocre at best. the editing is very jarring and usually something that nobody notices in films, but you'll definitely notice it here

I'm actually surprised how much people hate Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman. I like the serious tone and both kept me engaged the whole duration of the film
I don't need every superhero film to follow Marvel's formula.

It was meant to be the greatest and definitive DC comic book movie surpassing The Dark Knight.
It was meant to be a "Marvel killer" and show that the DCEU was better than the MCU.
It was meant to be critically acclaimed like Nolan's Batman series.
It was meant to be universally taken to by audiences.
It was meant to be a box office home run, juggernaut and biggest DC comic book movie to date.


Did absolutely none of that and now we're subject to capers on damage control right down to playing the moral high horse "why do you want it to fail" card

don't forget fight night. The greatest gladiator match in the history of the world. God versus man. Day versus night! Son of Krypton versus Bat of Gotham! blah....blah...blah

They needed 800 mil worldwide to break even, even with all the damn product placement and ads.
WB needs to get their act together and make a legit DC films subsidiary that is a real studio, and not the current brand that it is now.
Until they get that right, they'll always fail

I don't think you understand my point.
There is no confusion as to what WB is, but the fact of the matter is DC Films isn't run as a legit independent subsidary as Marvel films is for Disney.
From what I've read on Deadline and other industry publications, DC Films is nothing but a banner, it doesn't exist to safeguard and bring its properties to film under unified guidance like Marvel does.
its a shame too because DC has more filmable properties, even when you get to their imprints like image and etc, but because management wise its not a standalone unit, you'll probably never see it maximize those properties until that change.
