No disrespect fam, I only eat at black owned restaurants. Secondly I don't even think there's a Bojangles in NYC
There was two bojangles here in NYC but they are closed...

Why???
There was one that I was aware of in Brooklyn, on Broadway. I think it was near Halsey or Chauncey Street. A friend of my wife's who was from South Carolina had told me that there was one over there, and since I was already familiar with it with my fam being from NC originally, I was hyped to try it. It was in a kiosk in this lil hood mall, I guess you could call it. There was an Arab dude who was running it, I guess he thought he was gonna change the game by opening up a Bojangles up there. I ordered a two piece dinner, and when he asked what side I wanted, I told him "dirty rice". Son starts coming at me like "why you come here trying to insult my business, I run a very clean establishment" I'm like

"my n1gga, it's on the menu! look behind you!" He still going on, and I'm hungry, so I'm like, "dude, whateva, just gimme the fries". The chicken was mad dry, fries wasn't seasoned... I took the L when I got home and started eating. Threw it out, went back outside and went to Popeye's like I should've.
I had Popeyes in NOLA a few years ago

Now, anytime I eat it anywhere else, it ain't the same
That's what I hear, that the Popeyes in New Orleans are pure piff. I wanted to find one when I was down there for a work meeting earlier this year.
