Bojangles flame...but MARYLAND FRIED CHICKEN got the best chicken of all time:ohlawd:

100% peanut oil, fried in a big azz Pressure cooker...keeps the meat moist (that's what she said) and the outside crisp but not greasy

It's the ONLY reason to go to Plant City Florida :feedme:

Somewhere in Illinois
-Nationally I will always eat Popeyes instead of KFC......KFC Chicken is gross and they don't cook their Chicken all the way....smh
-Bojangles is good.....I remember eating it when I went to SCSU Homecoming a few years ago and the Sweet Tea and Dirty Rice was amazing
-In Chicago it's either Uncle Remus or Harold's
-Willie Mae's Scotch House in New Orleans had the best Chicken I ever ate in my life...

And low key, Churches Hartz is killin' the fried okra game.

Hartz got the okry (as my grandma calls it) on smash

I believe Frenchies is black owned...I'm almost 98% certain. They started in Third Ward Houston, and college students from Texas Southern and University of Houston have kept them open for a couple of decades, along with local residents. Now they are all over Houston suburbs, now going for national customers. I wish them luck, but I can say confidently, their menu as it is, doesn't touch Bo, but I think they are better than Churches or KFC, neck and neck with Popeyes.

To clarify, there's a slight difference between Frenchy's (UH/Scott) and Frenchie's (W. Orem/I-10 & Waco). Frenchy's was started by Percy Creuzot (yep, a black man!) and the few remaining original locations are still operated by the Creuzot family. Frenchie's is a spin-off of the original, still using the original recipe but with different spelling and logo. It's run by Mr. Reado (yep another black man)who actually used to run the original Frenchy's locations with Mr. Creuzot. Them whack ass Frenchy's franchises that started sprouting up all over the place are mostly run by that football nikka Aaron Glenn and Jason Medlock. What they bought was licensing so they have the logo which was used to design the colorway for the franchises which is why they look like Church's, but what they don't have the rights to is the original recipe which Percy Jr. still holds on to. This is why they don't taste the same, all the franchisee's purchase a base recipe from the Creuzot's that's cut with extra flour and missing a couple spices :youngsabo:.
