Alot of these new age gentrified Neuw Breuklyn establishments do not.

It's funny, I'll be driving through like the blackest parts of Bed Stuy to get to my apartment and magically I see a lily white establishment (like a coffee shop or vegan eatery) on the block where nothing but white people work and congregate. Where they type type type on their macbooks and check their iphones.

These places become safe havens for white interlopers and gentrifiers to congregate at.

These places rarely hire black or brown people...some asians...but they are hipsters/interlopers/gentrifiers like their white counterparts.

Most of the "real nikkas" are forced to move upstate or down south.

man why they doing this.

Cause nikkas don't buy property in order to make the next generation easier. Other groups got this concept, but black folk think that rent is cool.

This is mostly happening in Queens and Brooklyn, and to a smaller degree...in upper Manhattan.
The cutoff for whitey used to be like 95th but I've heard they've infiltrated up to like 115th.

A lot of black people and spanish people used to be in Manhattan and the Bronx...and they still are...but I've noticed over the last 15 years that a lot of them have moved up past Yonkers...way up to Poughkeepskie, Beacon and Newburgh....some pretty crime ridden places now...but that's really where people can afford to be since Westchester rents and homes are pricey. The average 1BR here is like 1400 and homes are around 400k to start.

It's kinda messed up that people who were near NYC for generations now have to live 90 minutes north.

I remember my mom saying that when she first came to this country the rent in her dad's apartment was like $90 a month...this was...the mid-1970s.

For real, I been to places like Beacon and Newburgh. Them places isolated and have all kinds of wild animals. That is what happens when you rent and not own. Living past Peekskill is like living in isolation. Back in the day, them places used to be all white. Now, random ass nikkas be in those places.

Foreal my nikka. It's getting to the point where you can't even tell some neighborhoods apart anymore. They take the character out of the neighborhoods.Its funny because all trustfund hipsters dress EXACTLY alike even though they think they are being subversive

Hoods used to distinct have a feel to them. Bushwick used to feel like Bushwick. The Stuy used to feel like the Stuy, and so on and son. But these cacs are bringing their stale, diluted, cultureless swag here and infesting the city, all in the hope of being a labeled a New Yorker, while taking the originality and character out of neighborhoods.

You're lucky though, it hasn't been as bad in the BX as it is in BK. Because a lot of the nightlife is in Lower Manhattan and BK, so they wanna be here.
But BK as a whole is now
