I thought it was a good movie. Didn't like the ending though. I felt it let the fraternity off the hook, just like what happens in real life. I feel the writer/director being a Greek prevented a proper ending because it would've meant showing the main character doing the right thing and ratting on the brothers, and loyalty to the fraternity outweighs everything even in death/art.

Leaving it open ended allowed him to say he's sparking a conversation, but in reality he got off easy by not holding anyone accountable and not providing a solution.

Impressive that it was shot an 18 days though

When I went to college I had an open mind about frats and thought the unity angle was cool. But after getting to college and digging deeper I could not do that shyt. Not only do you have to take a beatdown from dudes and then be super cool with them afterward you also got to pay Gs in dues yearly?! I was like na, that's not me. I skipped that shyt and do not regret it at all.

I was close myself to pledging my JR year. Me and my roommate was... but after I found out about the bread I wasnt able to, plus I was going through some shyt when my grandfather passed and just wasnt mentally right for awhile.

But I remember my roommate (one of them) went through it. Like we had a 3 bedroom with another roommate and from time to time his line would come to our spot.

I remember he had the nerve to ask could we (me and the other one) not be there and we (especially me) was like "nicca please, I pay rent here"

But like you said, I dont regret that shyt at all
