Argentina didn't win the tournament, and Germany, who will probably win, has a female head of state.

Anyway, @ all you dilettantes who voted for Brazil in this thread. Their team is nothing special right now. Most of their best players are past their prime, and the young potential isn't integrated yet. Plus they "suffer" and cause more injuries than any other team in the tournament (this is statistically verifiable.) The team is degenerating into a bunch of violent goons who attack others and fake injuries. They haven't been a team with grace and style in many years.

Germany has used the same team the past 2 World Cups, plus most of those dudes play together in the leagues anyway. They are a well-oiled machine and pound for pound the best national team in the world right now.

I hope yall Brazil stans didn't put any money down...

To be fair, fourth place in the WC is something very few nations in the world would consider an embarrassment, Brazil being one of those nations.

Germany struggled early because dumb ass Low refused to move Lahm back to his natural position at fullback. Once he made the switch, it opened everything up and the team started to look like the Germany we expected.

But even then, their only one bad match came against Ghana which ended in a draw. Everything else has either been blowout, cruise control (U.S.), or a hard fought game with a few missed opportunities.
