i wonder what taxes are in these countries.. and why these dudes just don't play over here in the united states like pele and rack up your numbers and make money off endorsements. i'm sure pay cannot be that bad and playing here would be a much better experience than playing in europe.

soccer here will fully mature in 20-30 yrs so better get in early and set records when other players are still wack cause with time it's only gonna get tougher...

Unless you are an aged superstar or a star for our national team the DP money isn't their. The salary cap is low and the competition level is low but we are getting more talent all the time. For example David Villa is going to FCNY next season and Kaka` went to Miami a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't call either of those global stars washed up though they are past their best years. We were getting 35 year old washed up global stars but now we are getting 31-32 year olds and with the new TV deal we will be getting even more designated player salaried guys who are even younger. In the next 5-10 years MLS is going to start swiping young and prime talent from the big four leagues in their prime years. Not enough to fill teams with top talent but enough to produce crazy highlight reels and secure an even bigger TV deal next time. At it's current rate f growth and with the World cup returning to us in 2022 or 2026, I foresee MLS becoming a top 6 league inside 20 years and top 4 or 5 inside 30 years. Soccer is growing in the US and it can't be stopped now.
