I like the album. I thought it would be too feature heavy, but it works.

Only thing is that with interviews with the Breakfast Club and Sway, he mentioned giving game to younger peoples and this being a "mature" album. So I was looking forward to Bun's 444, Life is Good, Deeply Rooted album. I only got that vibe towards the end. I think it's a collection of really good songs, not so much a good album (one theme, vibe, message,etc.)

Of course, I've only listened once and it's good enough to re visit.

Yea with just two listens, I get the more mature stuff from U A bytch, Grow Up, Never Going Back, and Gone Away. Still overall a good album, and not just good for a 40+ year old. It’s more than solid with quite a few bangers. No complaints here.

Damn I've been waiting for this but didn't even know it was dropping this week. Looking forward to this. That "Gone Away" it's cool to hear Hip Hop using Leon Bridges, so soulful.

I hate that I agree with everything everyone has said, but it's true. I can eat off Bun raps from 89 to 2011 and some of the good verses he's dropped in the past few years.

I feel like Bun just dropped this so he could have more solo tracks to perform at shows, KRIT did him a lot of favors on this so maybe they have a tour together coming up, not sure.

Krit was on his job on this album, what ever he was doing has Bun sounding sharper than ever. Great to hear such a return to form for a legend.

There's some dope songs on this album.

Though it does sound like its from 2008. I've always found it fascinating that bun has made a career talking about the same exact subject matter.

Wayne with an awful verse. He sounded like he had just woken up from H-town(don't ask me how)
