I wouldn't say II Trill was a 5 mic album (in my opinion), but I feel like the Source was definitely trying to make up for not giving Ridin Dirty that distinction

Yea me neither, but since they gave it to Trill OG it made more sense giving it to II Trill

Better, more soulful, released right after Pimp passing, etc

Trill og was half meh. Idk, I stopped playing it after 2 week while II Trill was in my rotation all summer and I still go back and play it sometimes . "You're Everything" is better than whatever that's on OG

Honestly after awhile, the only II Trill song I was playing on a regular basis was "Pop It For Pimp" with Juve and Webbie Ridin Slow, It's Been A Pleasure, Just Like That, Let'em Know >>>>>

I'm fukking with this album after alot a few more listens. Great to hear Bun moving towards the type of content he should be on as an elder statesman while still sounding fresh.

Dude spends about 48 seconds on 3 16’s. The most basic monosyllabic rhyme scheme saying the same thing in every song just subbing words here and there. Damn near unlistenable.

That repeating the word shyt at the end of the bar got old real quick with me. It’s not a good style to be your main thing.
