This dumbass is trying to sell the trade and anyone with sense should see through it. The only important thing to take away from this is "We want to get younger and more athletic to fit Fred's system". Now this fukk is saying we had injuries but we won't blame that :camby:

Given how team-friendly Jimmy's contract is, I think it would be dumb as hell to move him unless we get a ransom for him.

I'm really excited to see what he can do without Rose take up space out there.
Ya'll the brehs, but I really don't think yall are witnessing what is going on here

The way gar talking, the way things are going, these guys are talking success 2-3 years down the line, not immediate success. They talking having cap space next season, which means they have no plans to be active this off season.

What we are looking at is compounded failure

The 1st big failure was not getting a quality shooting guard and adding old ass rip Hamilton

The 2nd biggest blunder was not getting something for deng

The 3rd but could have been number 1, was their failure to get melo. Issue after not getting melo, was they supplemented that adding old ass pau and 2 rookies who are not that good, which killed our grit and grind.

Instead of the front office taking responsibility for that, they threw it all on thibs, axed him and brought in a coach who can't lead, plummets the offense and kills the defensive identity.

Instead of them taking blame for that, they axe noah and rose.

Meanwhile these clowns keep they jobs

They about to kill jimmy career too. They plan on surrounding him with more Jose calderon types and draft picks.

This is it breh, this might not get good for a long time.

This idiot gar (who still has a job) is speaking on csn

The way gar talking, sounds like we going rebuild.

But he really insulting my intelligence with being happy about the 3 guys they getting

And how the hell can they talk all this about getting younger and more athletic and vouch for getting a damn Jose calderon?!?!

I dont know ... he used the word retool specifically and just gave Jimmy a vote of confidence

Here's the thing: GarPax aren't going anywhere. I've accepted that. If running Thibs out of town and missing the playoffs in the fukking East didn't do it, nothing will. I'm done bytching about them and what they did in the past. It sucks but this is how it is.

Taking this deal at face value + the implications for Noah and Gasol (gone) + turning the keys over to Butler + (hopefully) letting Hoiberg put together a roster he likes (I don't trust him but I'm choosing to be optimistic for at least one more year)...I'm ok with where they sit right now.

I understand people want a full rebuild but the only way that happens is if we give Jimmy away for basically nothing, and with his contract that doesn't make sense to me.

Looking at everything together I'm not happy with this team but given the reality of the situation I think this is the best they could have done right now. And I doubt they're done dealing.

I think the solace we can take here ... the chances of Derrick Rose being in a Bulls uniform in 2017-2018 was probably menisucle at best

And gar was sounding unsure about saying this was def jimmy team. So they might trade jimmy too.

Makes no sense, they on csn talking that real, this deal cuts into they cap for next season, so why is gar talking about cap moving forward, if you keep rose and this season fails you can clear up a ton of cap to make a offer at 2 stars to join jimmy, by adding Lopez you just killed that plan

All this has become is justifying the thibs firing hoiberg hiring. Thibs laughing his ass off right now.
