Kc johnson said it would likely have to be the #5 pick and Wiggins

Can't lie, that is a hard deal to turn down.

Draft dunn at 5, lawawau or whatever the hell his name is at 14, plus you get about 30 mill in cap space when noah is renounced and pau gone. Hell of a way to start the next phase

I doubt minny comes off Wiggins tho.

Yea that is a hard deal to turn down.

But unless the Celtics up the ante and make this sort of a bidding war I can't see minny giving up Wiggins.

Still if you could get a shot at wiggins, the 14th pick the 5th pick and 30 mill in cap space, how the hell you say no to that?

Can't see minny giving up Wiggins either. At the same time Boston and now minny got the memo early that it would take a amazing deal like that to pry jimmy from the bulls.

Part of me feel like this is just thibs going public to show garpax he got the power always wanted and insulting them purposely lol

Yea, you have Wiggins who has future all star potential, the 5th pick, we still have the 14th and by letting minny absorb jimmy contract we go over 30 mill in cap space once noah and pau walks and it's hard to say no to that kind of deal.

If we talking setting up the future, that is a hell of a way to start.

I still think the best way to go, is add quality talent next to rose and jimmy. Cut off the fat of those vets who offer little or youngsters who need so much to develop, and try other looks for role players and see if they can provide more on a consistent basis than guys like brooks, mcdermott, niko who play well for 1 month but suck for 3 months or guys like snell who are pretty useless at this point. Those kind of guys getting 20 minutes here and give little for a lot of the season, we need to find guys who can give us something at least every other game.

But if you are going to take a step in the future, that is the kind of deal you take.

But honestly it's all for naught, I doubt minny part with Wiggins
