Yimmy working out with Snell right now is the equivalent of calling up one of your old bytches that was a solid 3 at best to see if you still got it after dealing with some sort of major disappointment in your life. Yimmy is bum slaying and is using him as a confidence booster....
Snell is quickly becoming Hinrich-lite (or dark depending on how you want to look at it) in regards to my disdain for him. He needs to get off of this team and make his way to the bushes where he belongs.

deal was talked about months ago to trade niko for him. i would def do that. niko looks like he will be exactly what he is. he is not a starter. he is a decent role player. okafur has the potential to be a star. and i def think he will improve greatly in a situation he happy in, not in a place he didnt want to go to in the 1st place.

i have lost faith that niko is going to improve his bball iq. not because this is only his 2nd year in the league, but simply because he spent so many years in the euroleague and still hasnt fixed those mechanics. the most i think of niko, is that he will be someone who can give us 1 or 2 break out hot games in the playoffs, which is cool because you need role players like that, but if you can turn that into a guy who could legit be a 18 and 9 guy like okafur, you have to do it imo, especially if you getting that on a rookie deal, and the chances of us landing the cream of the crop free agents is low. i think the ceiling is much higher for okafur, we could benefit from a poor situation and be down the line 5 years from now wondering how we stole okafur from the sixers while sixer fans will be cursing the front office for letting him go, while i think niko, will always just be niko.

i think niko can be of value, my issue is, we are really out the running for the prime free agents. our chances at durant, whiteside even batum is small. so taking advantage of deals like a okafur, is low risk high reward, especially if all we giving up is mr pump fake niko or no defense mcdermott, who again, both imo have some value, but i dont think either of them have the ceiling a okafur does.
now as far as the front office, no i dont trust them and wouldnt be surprised if our off season is them signing al jefferson and giving manu ginobli 15 mill a year. them fronting like whoever they picked at 14th will give us immediate contributions, and them signing another couple of vet min guys 1 foot out the league.
we like our core moving forward.Well, MCW isn't that good and Philly got the Lakers pick that was top 3 protected this year and next, so they got a ton of value for him.
They'll probably trade Oak and it'll probably be for Boston's #3 pick. Niko isn't enough.
