I'd take Pascal Siakim, Kris Middleton, and Jimmy Butler all over Bradley Beal, but that's just me and what I prefer.

Beal is a guy that will put up numbers on a trash squad and have people thinking he's a higher caliber player than what he is.

They should. They can't compete with Wall's contract. They need to sell high on Beal and start building thier new core. The next 4 years for the Wizards should be about getting lottery picks and developing young players. By the time thier young guys are ready to start winning (and get paid) Wall's contract will be gone.

If you extend him it may be easier to move him because he's tied down to a longer deal. Teams will be willing to trade for him knowing he's locked in

Truth, but the thing is, I think Ted legit somehow sees (low key, high key, w/e key) a core with this bunch, and extending BB helps to solidify said "core".
