Beal isn't no supermax guy.
On most contenders he's like a third option on a good day.
He had nice numbers this year, but he isn't a guy I believe you could count on you get you an efficient big game 7 closeout.
He and CJ McCollum remind me a lot of one another nice little players, but more third option complimentary type guys.
I can name more than a dozen guys I'd rather have than Beal right now. Nice player though.
He would be the 2nd option on the team that just won the title easily. He would be the 2nd option on the team that was runner up in the east. Thinking about it he would be the best 2nd option on damn near all the teams in the east.
Being able to name 12 guys better than him does not equate to him being the 3rd option on a good team in any way, shape, or form.
