bulls could have stayed afloat until rose got back in feburary. he would have been back to himself come the 2nd rd of the playoffs. all the front office had to do was get a team under him to hold it down until he was back to himself
team got the 1st seed and maintained it without rose last season. if the bulls came back with a off season of something like oj mayo, kirk hinrich and lets say grant hill or something like that, that team could have stayed afloat until rose got back and healthy. then come 2nd rd of the offs they make a run. they fail, then you keep the good tweak again next season til you get it right.
but our front office just dropped the ball all together, got rid of the bench that at least helped get a top seed and keep it and replaced it with even more mediocre talent for the sake of what? avoiding a tax they were going to have to pay anyway with or without asik?
front office just killed this off season and whatever future the bulls may have all together. garpax should be fired.

The FO gambled and thought they could win a title this past season. Asik should have been moved for another asset. Its ridiculous he is walking for nothing. This type of foresight is just completely unacceptable for a professional organization.
Not only does this happen.. they then completely turn a blind eye to their own incompetent and decide to stand pat knowing full well our entire bench was leaving, this team has reached their ceiling and Rose is essentially out for a year. They had the PERFECT opportunity to build another team around Rose.
