X got way too many wack albums to be on a list like this.....In the days of 24 hrs to live, 4321, Money Power Respect etc...he DEFINITELY was the most intriguing new artist in the game with one of the dopest voices and styles I ever heard but it got old real quick.

lol @ treach. Nah man. just nah. And I was a big NBN fan.
HipHop heads forget that Treach is one of them Mc's that changed the game forever. He made the Hiphop anthem popular. There's hooks and then u got Anthems! Treach is the first dropping anthems left and right. There would be no Dmx - Ruff Ryder's Athem if it wasn't for Treach. No Jeezy - Thug Motivation... none of these Dj Khalid hits

Treach changed the way people dressed on the Eastcoast

A lot of these Mc's got wack albums later in their career. But the dope albums they dropped in their Prime Is what really counts

And the impact they had on the game.... Did they do anything that changed Hiphop

Respectable list but mine's would be different. Ras Kass would have definitely been in there.

I respect that Ras Kass is one of the greats but answer this.. did he do more for HipHop than any Mc on my top 20?

All the people on that list is more influential and had a bigger impact than Ras Kass so he didn't make the cut

His debut is one of the most lyrical albums of all time but he couldn't follow thru and stay consistent

Lauren Hill?

:camby:

If we gonna do the honorary/token female inclusion I'd go with Queen La.

:dead:

I always thought it was pause breh....dippy dippy balls gives that shyt a whole new meaning.

:lupe:

Lauryn Hill was WAYYY NICER than Latifah..besides she had numerous ghostwriters in the form of Latif Shabazz and Apache...

Lauryn Hill's verse on COWBOYS >>>>> Latifah's catalog
