So we're gonna pretend that Buddhist goons in Thailand and Sri Lanka weren't murking for fun??? ok, that's cool. I guess none of those Japanese during WW2 were Buddhist either.

Image what a person who is focused and meditated can do when upset?? Especially if they know they will come back to Earth on the next life cycle as something better.

Right now in Burma this shyt is under reported... they are burning thousands of homes. It's a mission right now.

the wild thing is that any Buddhist committing violence isn't a real Buddhist

there's nothing in the Buddhist doctrine that condones violence under any circumstances

the same definitely can not be said for Islam. (but but but....it's taken out of context....eat a d1ck, the book promotes killing thats all that matters)...

There is no such thing as a religion of peace. As far as I can see, every religion's followers have done awful things, and every religion includes ideas that can be used to justify such activity.

this is true...the essence of religion is to expand and to save as many souls as you can..either be it forced or setting an example and letting a person join their religion voluntarily...for instance in the sikth religion it is a sin to force someone to join their religion

So then why do atheists always talk trash about other peoples belief. The belief in nothing is a religion in itself.

Not quite. To call an atheist who doesn't belong to an organized belief system religious doesn't really make sense. If you were referring to some organization in specific, with its own doctrines and codified beliefs, maybe even a hierarchy, then there would be more to compare. Even if decentralized, as in forms of Hinduism or Buddhism, religion is still organized. That's a large part of where the political element that leads to power grabs and violence comes from.

Atheists have belief systems to explain the world they live in that arent spiritual.

a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2.
a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects:

Evolution, psychology, etc to me would fall into the religion of atheists.

When Buddhists get violent, you should take a real hard look at your actions and how people perceive you.
