This is not his first time pushing Becky. On his podcast he said Knicks should hire her because it would be good PR. I wonder if Brad Stevens left would Simmons want Celtics to hire a 4th assistant with 4 years of experience.

If you were really concerned for women's rights instead of trying to look good on twitter you would want first woman head coach to have enough experience to succeed. Budenholzer and Igor were assistants for 17 years before they got their shot.

Simmons has almost made a full transition into a podcast Skip Bayless, his other recent hot take was that people saying Ben Simmons needs a jumpshot were idiots

i think he means in a sports related environment, again i think a woman can coach in the NBA but definitely not the NFL

at the moment, re: the NFL, i agree, but that's solely because there is no serious involvement or outlet for female football...girls playing pop warner and on HS teams is a joke and there are no real competitive leagues (nor HS or college female football teams) for female football that a lot of people care about/know about.

women also aren't involved in coaching at the lower levels, i think if dudes were exposed to female head coaches and/or coaching staff as they went thru pop warner, HS, and college, you could eventually get at least some female coordinators in the league. but that would take at least a couple decades, a couple generations of players would need exposal to women in football coaching in the lower levels before it could become common in the NFL.

Not infantry. And that's another they are trying to push, female infantry officers.

It's one thing to lead solders in a doctor's office, or even military police. But I would imagine that infantry is an different animal altogether.
