They had to solve the "Daniel Bryan" problem. I believe they blame Daniel Bryan's 2015 return for Roman Reigns coronation being fukked up. Brock Lesnar getting the belt back, Cena being slowly phased out and now being a "free agent", the shield slow burn reunion, most of the big picture decisions being made ties in with the 3+ year oddesy to make Roman Reigns the top guy.

The whole idea being these theories are that Daniel Bryan was being buried in light of the desire to push Roman reigns...but when was he being buried? And why would they NEED TO LIE and fake injury to solve an alleged Daniel Bryan problem...when they COULD RELEASE HIM...OR JUST BURY HIM?

If you want to know what they would've done look at their booking of cm punk when they were legit burying him for Randy Orton

Heres's the thing though: if he needs to hang it up, then 90% of the WWE locker room needs to hang it up. Going down the WWE main roster, I simply refuse to believe that the brains of the Big Show, Brock Lesnar, Cesaro, Dean Ambrose, Finn Balor, Goldust, JEFF fukkING HARDY, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Matt Hardy, R-Truth, Rhyno, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Akira Tozawa, Brian Kendrick, Lince Dorado (who, lest we forget, literally suffered a seizure in the middle of a CHIKARA ring about a decade ago that zero people mention in these discussions), Neville, TJP, AJ Styles, Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, John Cena, Kevin Owens, Kofi Kingston, Luke Harper, Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura or Sin Cara are ALL in such better shape than Bryan's that they should be allowed to wrestle and he should be shelved. These are all men who either have wrestled about as long as Bryan or wrestle a very similar style to him, yet no one brings up anything about their status or how dangerous wrestling is for them (yes, including the guy who suffered a very public seizure in the middle of a damn ring).

If you seriously believe such a thing, then you have to be the markiest of all marks. My goodness.
