the streets starving for more
Leon Bridges was doing 1960's retro R&B
rapael saadiq has made numerous albums of retro 1960 and 1970s R&b sounds
Pj Morton had an album that was a throwback to the classic 1970s Stevie Wonder period
And none of those artist are the entertainer that Bruno is. Bruno being the complete package is why he is so popular.
saadiq is a far superior musician/artist/producer to bruno mars
the pj morton gumbo live recording is better than anyhting I've heard from Bruno, including the bruno/paak collab in the OP
We are are not taking about who is the better singer or who makes better music. We are talking about who is the better entertainer. Bruno’s music and dancing skills make him the better all around performer.
I don’t have an opinion about Adele because I don’t listen to her music. But besides Bruno Mars who else is really trying to make classic r&b like him? No one but Bruno uses New Jack swing sounds. No one but Bruno seems to want to sing ballads like Motown artists of 60’s and 70’s.
.
The artists you mentioned above all make great music. And I don’t disagree with you saying they make better music. That doesn’t make them the better entertainer. None of those Artists you mentioned above are selling out arenas. None of those artists are top caliber dancers.
The reason Michael Jackson is the King on Pop is not because his music was good. But because his performances were legendary. Michael Jackson doesn’t become Michael without his Dancing ability period.
we are? This is what you said/asked
I had to point that this was false
that's a whole other topic that falls outside of pure musical reasons
King of pop for sure, not the king of musicianship. No musician/producer will tell you that MJ was fuking with Stevie on a pure musical level
and did I say anywhere Bruno makes the best music? The point of my argument is that no male artist is combining classic R&B Sounds with Dance like Bruno is. Chris Brown is just as talented of a dancer as Bruno but his sound is modern day trap r&b now, so he doesn’t quite fall under this category.
This is a shift from your original claim what you said in this post is true but when I listen to music, I'm not really thinking about the entertainment (as in a theatrical performance) factor unless it's some large stage concert.
this is more entertaining
than anything you get from Chris Brown because the music is flat out better
OP, change the motherfukking group name in the title to the correct one
Got the collab sounding like some detergent
