nikkas don't run the music industry or the entertainment industry not even in the slightest. They use to cheat a lot of black artists back in the day that lead up to this point. These figure heads just break in these new rappers get them to sign 360 and milk them until their run, runs dry. ANd than it's on to the next artists. Rinse and repeat.

Don't try and shift the blame, if black people are so mad at cultural appropiation then they need to stop supporting the bullshyt, I've seen it with so many non black acts, as soon as they do something that looks like black culture, people start whooping and hollering like it's some sort of validation

I’m strictly logical. It has to make logical sense. Don’t just blurt out things like that bird in the clip.

Jackson 5 appropriated “Rockin’ Robin” and The Jacksons did the same with “Blame It on the Boogie”.

Those were cac tracks. I like their versions bka covers.
nikka rocking Robin is rock n roll music they stole that from us in the first place:gucci:who are you nikkas

Strange coming from a sista who calls herself "sensei", but she is telling 100% truth. We all know this. Cacs ain't shyt. Bruno can copy Morris Day and Bobby Brown all day long, and cacs suddenly give themselves permission to like this type of music :mjpls:

Not sure how old you are breh but white people LOVED Morris Day and Bobby Brown.

Bruno Mars isnt half Somoan brehs.

The biggest thing Bruno should not get a pass for whatsoever is providing the hook for the song "Bubble Butt.":scust:

Where do you think black music comes from?
The heart, and soul of negro slaves in chattel slavery, toiling away and suffering perhaps the greatest human atrocity(over extended period) known to man!
Sorry, Nigeria, or any WA country for that matter have very little claim to any of that. When we crossed the Atlantic, and touched down it became our problem. So again placing yourself as an authority on anything unrelated to what's going on in Lagos, or 'Afro beats' maybe is..:hhh:

how do you guys explain hiphop then?hiphop was the greatest genre of all because it was the most defiantley black genre, that was unwelcoming of whites and european culture:wow:

Once it became so watered down and europeanized by the likes of Kanye,Kid Cudi etc, that white people might as well get it from people who look like themselves and bypass black people.

Rock is different, its not really based around anything a white man couldn't do. But RNB,Hiphop and Funk should be untouchable genres as far as blacks monopolizing it and being at the forefront. There should not be as many non blacks at the forefront of those genres as their are right now. But there are because the standards, authenticity and talent bar has been lowered by us in order to appeal to europeans to get european dollars.

Black people left out of the gate to do some fukk shyt, and left it wide open for some fukk shyt to make its way in:martin:
As far as Hip hop goes, have you noticed that a guy like Kanye had to put in years of work and he's had to prove himself on a musical tip to achieve status, while post Malone sky rocketed on that wack Iverson song. People:mjpls: want "black music" from non black people. Its a simple concept.

I don't know why nikkas acting surprised tho, shyt ain't new.

In the 1950's and 60s cac musicians literally jacked Black Roll & Roll-they didn't even bother changing the lyrics on the record. Their bland, plagiarised songs went to the top of the charts and they made more money than the original creator of the music.

:francis:

It was pure racism. Those old Black Rock & Roll artists died in poverty while mediocre cac Rock bands made millions FROM THEIR SONGS. Blacks went on to create R&B, Soul, Disco, Funk, Techno, House and Hip-Hop. Blacks had to constantly evolve and innovate to stay ahead.

Now in 2018, R&B and Hip-Hop / Grime are the biggest and most creatively dominant genres of music worldwide.

Rock & Roll is dead.
Farewell to NME: a rock'n'roll riot that petered into silence | Alexis Petridis

The fcking cacs can't sustain it because they simply do not have the creativity.

Of course this injustice can't be done so blatantly nowadays. That's why 40 years later, Hip-Hop & R&B are still majority black genres. The richest musician in the world is Jay-Z.

What will happen is what has always happened:

1. Blacks create new genre of music.

2. Achieves huge success in the mainstream.

3. Mediocre cacs hi-jack the culture.

4. Blacks get pushed out of their own genre.

5. Blacks create new genre.

Rinse and repeat.

But let us start trying to appropriate their shyt and it’s a problem

Yep imagine a black woman or black man trying to do country music or some other genre they stole from us and they will be up in arms and ensure that individual doesn’t succeed in that field. Didn’t they go nuts at Beyoncé when she did something country related? I think it was when she performed in a country show or something.

As far as Hip hop goes, have you noticed that a guy like Kanye had to put in years of work and he's had to prove himself on a musical tip to achieve status, while post Malone sky rocketed on that wack Iverson song. People:mjpls: want "black music" from non black people. Its a simple concept.

People like Ye opened the doors to make it easy for somebody like Post to be succesful in todays climate. There was a time when even white people would look at alot of these white rappers as goofys and would would prefer to get hiphop from the source. But guys like Kanye watered it down to the point europeans can easily come into the culture, because the artform is essentially color blind now. Souless, painless, void of black identity all together. Its easy for white boys to make it in this climate thanks to Kanye, should I feel sorry for him:martin:? Plus Post Malone doesn't have any black fans that I know of,nikkas listened to Ice Ice Baby too,Post is the equivelant of that.

Difference is guys like Kanye made it to where guys like Post Malone can walk among us for a little longer than before, and not immediately be shytted on by black emcees, fans or even have their pedigree or authenticity tested. At least Vanilla Ice had to feel the pressure back in his day:martin:
