The issue with this take is that Kamala is getting blamed for Bidens actions. Expecting her to separate herself from Biden on this issues while campaigning would have been deading her chances at being elected.
I don't care if they don't vote for Kamala, it's the voting for Trump instead that is perplexing. If they were largely sitting this election out it would make sense.
Also I ran into @Seoul Gleou people outside the rally last night. They weren't interested in discussing what they thought was the best course forward for them at this point. Couldn't explain why they were blaming a VP for the president's actions. Weren't interested in discussing why voting for Trump made sense for their cause. Only there because they hate Kamala, hopes she lose, and they want to dissuade people from voting for her.
And while I tried to engage in conversation with them. Most people rolled their eyes at them, stated what they were doing made no sense, or told them good luck with Trump. The crowd was not empathetic to their cause at all and didn't really understand why they were even out there to begin with. Which is what I thought all along, this isn't really a hot button issue for US voters.
This is exactly why they are justified in sitting out the election or even voting for Trump. I’d do it….just out of spite and pettiness.
I was going to sit out the election if Biden was the nominee. I’m voting for Kamala in the hopes(I expect o be let down) that her black and Indian heritage will make her more empathetic to what the Palestinians are going through.
