An Adaptation That Does Not Translate Well

The movie was okay.... the 1st half was a total waste. When it gotten to the actual STORY, it was decent... Hamill was BRILLIANT, the way they handled the ending conclusion was WELL DONE and really the only issue I have it the transitioning to the flashbacks could be done better...but it's mainly because they went very much like the book. The TONE was more dark than I imagined, but I liked it. This would of been a MASTERPIECE of a film had it not been for the 1st half messing it up with a weak story and it having zero to do with The Killing Joke as well as the transitioning of the flashbacks.

To me, THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS is still my favorite Batman adaptation.

It was good. The point of the first 25 min was to give some significance to what happened to start the other story imo. Not quite as epic as I was expecting, but it was cool.

glad i didn't waste movie theater money on this. This was

the animation sucked

generic story for the first half just to give Bruce and Barbara a deeper connection but it really didn't pay off because Bruce didn't go off on the Joker at the end like you thought he would

The final battle was no different from those Batman vs Joker ass beatings from the 90s cartoon

I think its time for DC Animation to get Bats a break
