So many people seem to hate the NXT overhaul, but if the idea is going back to developing guys who can go on to be main roster stars, that's cool to me... NXT was becoming a place for indie guys to stay and hang out on the roster for years at a time, which wasn't originally the concept of it. I don't hate the new NXT, they actually do stuff on there that they should do more of on the actual WWE brand shows when it comes to presenting characters. There's people on there with better character development than some dudes on Raw and Smackdown...

They chose to make it like that..it used to be the Shield, the Wyatts, Sasha, Becky, Charlotte, Asuka, Bayley, Bliss coming to the main roster...wtf happened?! Ciampa and Walter should of been on the main roster a lifetime ago..they brought up Keith Lee and called him Bearcat after all that promotion they did with him surviving against Roman at Survivor Series. The Lesnar Rumble face off..lol. Just crazy. Waste of time..money..trust from fans.

The only thing I don’t understand is why everyone from them to the coli calling this NXT 2.0?

Isn’t technically this 3.0?

This is like the 3rd era of NXT cuz it started out as a reality challenge type game show with occasional wrestling. Hell they even had main roster guys as COACHES to the contestants.




Then they went a way from that and made it an indie type show

Now it is….. whatever it is now.

Just kind of weird to call it 2.0

Best version of NXT and the only one I truly watched. Loved The Nexus .

Too much guys were hiding down in NXT because they were not ready for or afraid of being on Raw or Smackdown

Once guys started going back after they flopped on the main Roster( Joe, Finn, Ciampa and Johnny) i knew something was going wrong.....
I respect Ciampa for thugging it out tho and putting Breaker over, as opposed to running to AEW or wherever else will have him....hopefully(probably not) the WWE treats him right for his loyalty

He had heart surgery and might can't handle the workload and stress like he used to

The only fukked up part about what happened is that they used his medical situation as the time to pull the rug from under him.

It's really the 4th version.

1. Gameshow version.
2. Local Florida TV version that was essentially just FCW with a cleaner arena.
3. WWE.com/WWE Network officially acknowledged brand with their own big events, this goes all the way through October 2021

Seeing how Vince and creative was doing dirty each nxt call up. No one wanted to go to the main shows. It was a demotion being called up to Raw or SD.

I don’t mind at all that they’re going back to the developmental version, but it also probably shouldn’t be live. There’s a LOT of green-ness on the roster and they’ll get exposed like that (just like a good amount of AEW folks)

Bobby Roode's run was my favorite era of NXT. He had fire matches with Kenta, Nakamura, Drew Mc, etc...his main events delivered

But...good lord his entrances were INCREDIBLE
