I dont know, I still enjoy bruce's podcast. The Coach story made the entire episode worth it.

Vince: "Goddamn it, i am trying to produce a nationally syndicated show and your getting arrested for fahhhhking fooooootballl pooooooools"

Not shytting on the show at all, just agreeing to the fact that Bruce be kissing Vince ass. When the show first started he would always admit to fukking up certaing angles and shyt but now he defends EVERYTHING. Before he would defend 90% of the shyt but now he defends 99.9% of it and will NEVER say shyt about Vince

I ended up giving up his podcast cause I couldn't take it anymore. That plus he's pretty much told every story he has to tell. I like JR's much more because he will actively shyt on bad ideas or call out ways the WWE was fukked up.

No I remember the angle but I dont think the podcast and Bruce should be judged on the basis of that.

In respect of the angle itself, I think about it now and feel that they fuked it up themselves

That initial promo when Paul said that "people like you dont get to be champion" can be interpreted as being a WWE vs WCW thing rather than a racial one.

For example, if he said that to someone to a white guy like Scott Steiner then it would be obvious what he meant by that.

For me, the racial undertones of the angle were displayed with the whole get me a towel remark. Now thats on creative, not HHH. People need to understand the difference.

Now somewhere leading up to Wrestlemania, Vince must have lost confidence in Book. He must have had second thoughts on making him the guy.

It must be remembered that HHH was the one who was drawing in the company at the time and working with different wrestlers the same way Flair used to do back in his heyday.

Could you see Booker taking over this role? Can he have work with wrestlers with different styles? Would he have drawn?

These are the questions that Vince must have been asking himself and in the end he must have decided to take the safe action and keep the belt on reliable HHH

Ofcourse it doesnt look good with the build up but at the end of the day, business comes first for Vince.

Anybody listen To Grillin Jr?

Listened to one episode (survivor series 1995) and it seems really promising so far

what I’ve noticed
- Conrad is less silly and jokes less, podcast has more of a focused, professional feel
- they tend to focus on one topic (ie Bill Watts) for extended periods of time rather than the rapid fire match, wrestler, match, topic, match style in a typical STW ppv episode
- JR is salty as hell lol

again, that’s one episode so not sure if that’s more of a general thing or just this particular one.

who else listens to grilling JR?

its like that every episode...JR getting all his shyt off about what he never liked in wrestling in general, what he feels works and doesn't work.

JR has a tendency to ramble, but Conrad lets it slide. He doesn't challenge JR they way he would Bruce or the way he used to at least.

But overall aside from JR veering off topic sometimes, my favorite out of the bunch [I don't listen to whw and 83 weeks]
