man i'm giving the lapsed fan a shot, and got damn these cats doing 8 hour shows :merchant:
do they ever get to the effing point? im trying to listen bout the 01 RR and these dudes haven't even made it to the event yet and it's 2 hours in
Their shows are a commitment to listen to but they are dope as hell once you're in it. The whole series about the AWA should almost be required listening to any wwf/wwe fan because you'll see where Vince got a lot of inspiration from. And it lays out in detail how Vince went "national" and fukked up the territories.

Dont forget The Montreal Screwjob Series as well,if you listen to the 97 PPVs in Chronological Order leading up to Survivor Series 97 you can get a good analysis on the goings on in the E that year and how pivotal it was for the Future

almost. I think if you really want to know where wwf got alot of its inspiration you should listen to it. But i understand that it's long as fukk. If Verne was smart enough to not wrestle and just book he'd probably lasted alot longer. Dude had people like Perfect, Hogan, HBK, Hall, Sherry, Mean Jean, and on down the line. But the best part of that series of podcast is them going in depth about Vince making tv deals and going "national".

Lapsed Vince >>>>> Prichard's Vince:yeshrug:

Bruce was right there with him through the years and he definitely edits what he says about him. On the Lapsed Fan they try to recreate that 'million monkeys chained to a million typewriters' lunacy inside Vince's head.

Also - most of them have a Part 2 where they just talk about the event. Part 1 is just them doing background.

If you want an episode recommendation - their reading of the script for the Vince biopic is consistently hilarious. :russ:

Adults can sound so childish on Twitter/social media. I dont see any reason for the he said/she said talk from anyone over 20.
