I'ma need y'all skinny brehs to let me know how y'all are working out your legs. What's y'alls routine and how long does it take for y'all to see gains?! :lupe:

Up until I started this thread, I did nothing but squats. 3 sets of 5, 3-4 days a week. Squatting that many times a week is pretty draining but it worked. My legs are disproportionately large compared to the rest of me now, it was to the point where I was actually growing into my jeans and boxers.

So I guess add squats to the beginning of at least 3 of your workouts per week?

As a side note I didn't realize how important it was to work abs until now. Squatted the other day and immediately felt the difference, felt like my abs were "bracing" me, it was a lot more comfortable.

Improves posture too, had my dad tell me I was walking like I was about to fukk somebody up :heh:

This my goal too honestly; I'm trying hard to get to at least 170, but I'm currently 155 lbs. I'm happy though, because I was straight up 137.5 at the end of last year...I'm 5'11 so you know I was practically somali status. I feel better now, but I still got ways to go before I hit my best.

Funny shyt though, I've always been okay with being skinny until I watched "Moonlight". That Trevonte dude got me feeling inadequate AF about my weight, especially when I found out he's the same age as me. I decided then that January I was gonna start working on my body for real, I thought I was gonna be 180 by now, but it just goes to show how dumb I was about the whole concept of gaining weight.

But hey, 155 is a lot closer to my goal, so I'ma keep eating and keep grinding. I feel good, and I'm enjoying the benefits of this a lot more because this is the first time chicks are looking at me like I'm food. I'd usually get those looks from my fashion sense, but everything is so different now. :wow:

Keep it simple breh

Squats + Leg Press will put meat on those leg bones.

Then burn out on leg extensions/leg curls.

You'll see gains if you a. Eat like a pig and b. Increase your weight over time...

Let's say you squat 135 at the moment. If you are squatting 135 four weeks from now -- you playing.

Listen to your body, push yourself. On leg day, make sure you get a lot of carbs.

Wait til you get over 170, you gon be like :banderas:

I'm 5'8, 170...I look like a Greek statue :banderas:...these broads be like :shaq:....

At your height, I'd definitely shoot for 180-185...

What the fukk is the point of getting up at 4:30 in the morning if the gym is going to be semi-crowded anyway? Now I'm just not gonna do it anymore...

I'm thinking its people trying to get in an early work out session before they go to work, so I'm gonna try going at 8-9AM and see what happens...



And hack squats got my ass/glutes blowing up :dame:

Looked in the mirror and was like damn nikka :dame:

Putting on weight is damn hard I wish I never lost it. During high school I played football basketball stayed in the weight room and was 6' 200 pounds of what seemed like pure muscle. Stopped working out ate like one meal a day ended up at 128.

I was absolutely disgusted with myself. Been working on it about 8 months I'm back to 160 but I been stuck here a good month
