:childplease:nikka has no choice.

He could go and fight fukking Cotto next, his career will forever be nothing but a laughingstock.

He NEEDS to go back and rematch Maidana and go for this Hail Mary.

He has nothing to lose.

If he loses it's :manny: but if he somehow squeezes out a win he can talk shyt and act like the loss never happened.

This is a Hail Mary and even YOU can't front like its not.

His career would be a laughingstock?:what:

Are you not aware that Maidana already has 3 losses, and has never avenged ANY OF EM..... is he a laughingstock?:wtf:

Shane Mosley got whooped multiple times.......is his career a laughingstock?:stopitslime:

SRL lost multiple times.......is he a laughingstock?:childplease:

Broner loses 1 fight and he's a laughingstock?:camby:

This is different and you know it.

The sport was ready to crown him the next Mayweather, he talked 3x the amount of shyt Mayweather talked. Hell, even Mayweather himself co-signed him.

Then he gets humbled pretty dramatically, and he became a laughingstock. And his career will forever have nightmares of that night (unless he avenges that loss). So at that point we both know Broner isn't Broner anymore. Hea just your John Doe contender..

But good job at dodging my point though:mjpls:

You never lose 1 time and become a laughingstock:ufdup:

It's how you follow up and what you do. Example, Zab Judah was KO'd and joked about for his loss to Kostya Tszyu. He then went on to capture the lineal title at WW after beating a prime Cory Spinks IN St. Louis.

Yes his career went off track after that because of his lack of focus, but in 2006 and prior to his fight with Mayweather, Zab was widely considered one of the elite fighters at 147 even after taking a devastating KO loss within 2 rounds to Tszyu.

My point is, it's what you do AFTER experiencing a misstep in your career and how you rebound as a boxer. Taking your first ever career loss does not make your entire career a laughingstock.

Like Floyd said, 99% of boxers end up taking a loss at sometime or another:mjpls:

Dont forget, Broner ASKED for Maidana both times when his management didnt want him to fight Maidana. He wanted the tough fight and to "clown" him for losing when he could've just ducked him, like his management told him to, is hilarious to me.

Broner could've returned and fought somebody like Jorge "Pantera" Silva at 147 and took an easy victory on Floyd's undercard:manny:

Broner has the speed advantage that he didn't take advantage of in the 1st fight.
He'll go into the 2nd fight boxing in a more defensive manner and will get the victory.
He's learned it isn't wise to go toe-to-toe with Maidana's power.

It's little risk for Broner but big risk for Maidana, unfortunately.

Broner could go back to 135 right now and still have fights lined up. If he loses, so what? He's fighting 2 weight classes above normal anyway.

Maidana is riding the highest wave of his career. If he loses a rematch with Broner, any potential big money fight at 147 goes out the door.

Exactly.

That's why I keep saying it. Broner is still the 135 Champion and can go back there at anytime he wants and dominate down there.

In the 11th and 12th rounds, Broner did hurt Maidana by letting his hands go and utilizing his speed advantage.

Look, I'd personally root for Maidana. I think Broner is arrogant and a goon.
But technically speaking, Broner is the more skilled fighter.

If Broner fights defensively but lets his hands go (I don't think he jabbed enough), he should beat Maidana.
But if Broner repeats the same slow start of the 1st fight, it could be the same result.

I really want to see this Cotto vs Martinez fight though.

yeah no doubt, i agree with broner landing a few at the end but that was not enough. If broner trains hard for this then i will take an interest.

Yep. Same situation as the original fight.

If Broner doesnt box Maidana and keep his hands up, game over again:yeshrug:

someone explain to me why and how AB will win the rematch?
Box and move. Throw the jab and step back. Keep Chino at a distance. Don't attempt to trade with him, that's just playing to his strength. If he gets aggressive coming in, counter jab/hook and clinch if necessary.

And he's gotta throw combos. Chino admitted to feeling his power in the 1st fight. if he puts his punches together, he could do some damage

word. box and move! You need to be natural with the footwork n shyt. Khan tried so then go tired and traded. Devon used his feet well and manage to get a win?Broner needs to move those fukkin legs.

Plus Chino gassed out while AB was coming on stronger by the end of the fight.

Reason I feel AB can win the rematch is because I felt Maidana fought his best fight and cant improve. I feel like Broner didnt let his hands go until the championship rounds, but by then, it was too late.

If he let his hands go earlier, plus kept his hands up and kept his distance, I still see Broner taking an easy victory. I didnt see anything from Maidana that makes me think he's an elite fighter. I feel like I seen an upset.....that's all.:manny:
