If you like the status quo then fair enough. I just hope the same people that complain about how stale the show is and talking about the "young guys" not getting their shot aren't also hyping up this part time champion stuff.
It wasn't always like this though, in fact, you could argue that when wrestling was at it's cultural, financial, and creative zenith (Monday night wars era?), it was anything but. The shows felt competitive back in those days, even if one two or three guys actually ever touched the strap.
In regards to boxing, it's real, there are more medical reasons for them to fight less.
Having said that, *many* people *do* cite the PPV's (Amongst other things) for "killing" the sport. I personally don't want to get into that convo, but it's worth noting.
Above all else, Money May doesn't have a weekly show centered on his exploits as champion.

, but I would hope that this isn't the new standard for the main title. Like I said, I don't even dislike Brock/Heyman. They are typically the best parts of shows that they are actually at, I'm more concerned about this general trend.
