I honestly think it's a lack of intelligence if you don't think Brock is anything short of money. Should a shytty card keep heel Lesnar from selling a joint out, fine. Don't think for two seconds that his presence isn't going to be a bright side no matter what. In a LOSS, Samoa Joe gained his greatest wrestling accomplishment from Brock's legitimacy alone.

Honestly, even with me mad Stroman didn't win, I'm good moving forward with Brock as champ.

I only wish his moveset had more variety, Suplex City ran outta steam for me last year. But from the Goldberg match till now, he's been on arguably the best run of his second stint imo (2012 - now). Plus he's been extremely giving with all of his opponents, you can tell he's both handpicking them and having fun because he's been bumping his ass off. He let Goldberg beat him clean and then son him at the Rumble, he let Joe maul him at GBOF, and he let Braun legally murder him tonight. If he did a bit more than just Germans and had more variety with it, I'd be giving him all the praise.

why do y'all keep bringing up being over?

no one never said he didn't get good reactions

why do y'all keep bringing up flippy shyt?

Almas/Gargano on saturday...no flippy shyt, had the crowd on fire all 13 mins

Black/Itami...had a single moonsault...dope match at 12 mins..

how is anyone wrong for wanting to see Lesnar do something other than german suplexes?

If Lesnar has respect for you and sees money can be made, he'll go the extra miles, bumps and sells and can put on a good match. Take the Goldberg match, which was enjoyable as fukk, good old-fashioned brawl and that was down to Brock.

And tbh, he's a goddamn monster and 'former fighter' , he doesn't need to be going 15-20-25mins, matches, he could, but doesn't need to, because he is the spectacle. Yes he spams the German, but that's probably the safest suplex you can take from a guy like Brock, he could change it up, but it's his signature, as the saying goes, work smarter not harder.

It's never been about being over. :dahell:

It's always been about Suplex, Suplex, takedown, punch, suplex, suplex, sell a bit, suplex after quick comeback, F5, pin.

All of the most over guys (Hogan, Austin, Rock, etc) had main event formulae that you could uncharitably distil down to a checklist like that if you wanted to.

Lesnar is more over now than he ever was during his first run when his 'workrate' was higher and he did more moves.

It also makes sense from a match psychology POV. If he can effortlessly pick you up and fling you on your head, why wouldn't he just keep doing that?

Why can't you like both?

Just like how the Fatal Four Way match was great and I marked out for it or even how Goldberg/Lesnar was a really good match at WM (imo), matches like Bate/Dunne or Okada/Omega are great matches too.

That's the thing about wrestling, there's something for everyone, all styles get a reaction, so no need to tear one style down to big up the other :ld:

It's like this place is bizarro world when it comes to Brock, all the hate seems to come from the internet but in real life and at shows the guy is crazy over
Just about everyone here in TSC used to love him, too. Then they did the typical TSC heel turn. :yeshrug:

Brock is still one of my favorites. He consistently has the most interesting feuds and matches. I'm honestly surprised they keep booking him as strong as they do, but I'm not against it. The aura and presence surrounding him is unmatched, but I do believe they have something very special in Braun (and should probably reduce him to feature attraction status like Lesnar in order to keep it... neither of these guys should be on weekly TV).

It's not as exciting to see him as his first couple years back, but his stuff is still entertaining. Him vs Stroman could be great, him selling that much and being an underdog is something we haven't really seen.

Okada and Ibushi aren't corny at all.

Okadas clothesline finisher is a little corny

You guys are really reaching. Look at Brock's work during the RA Era and look at it now. I'll take early 2000s Lesnar over this recent Lesnar.

It's not about being over or working 20+ minutes.
If it's not about being over or working 20 minute matches then wtf is wrestling about
