You’re overlooking the fact that this is the child of a professional athlete. You’re just not going to want to put him in any daycare at a low cost nor should you for obvious reasons. People would find out with the quickness of who that kid is and who his parents are.

That kid should be in private daycare which isn’t cheap or with someone that they know and trust.

Agree to a degree but depending on the region you’re talking at max 1500-2k a month . That’s more enough left over for food and clothes and paying some utilities - and the mom works , so what are we talking about

It should have caps - just because I make $15m a year doesn’t change how much it takes to raise a kid. It should be reasonable . Mom needs to work and put in to the pie

daycare, babysitter, learning materials and etc. i've been to a kids store years ago and that stuff wasn't cheap at all.

It is expensive to raise a child, but $30,000 a year is still significantly more than $18,000. The Child support is to support the child, not for her to live off. So she will have to actually work to cover the same expenses she would have if she was childless.
