Ehhhh I wouldn't necessarily say millions considering that he was a late round lottery pick and not making bread like that once you factor in taxes and other expenses. I would also assume that he's benefitting from the child support laws in Kentucky (where he's from) or NC.

That could easily change though depending on his next contract and where that is. She's definitely going to try again to bump up those payments though when the money increases like a lot of them do in those situations even if it's not that much.

No, he was pick #12 in Round 1 of the NBA draft.

daycare, babysitter, learning materials and etc. i've been to a kids store years ago and that stuff wasn't cheap at all.

You went to a kids store? You mean target?! Fym

The only thing expensive is daycare and extracurriculars , if you decide on private school that’s on you. $30k you can definitely stretch if both people are working .

All of that can be afforded on 2500 a month!

Also the payments shouldn't be based on where the mother moves to. If we living in Charlotte and have the kid there then I shouldn't be forced to pay more because you decided to move to LA.

$300K is the national average, i'm sure it skews much higher living in L.A.

think for a moment even if she earned $31,200 a year minimum after taxes in addition to the $2,500/month. calculate the average cost of housing, transportation(including LA car insurance), healthcare cost, childcare/babysitter cost, baby/gear/supplies.
He is not solely responsible for all that though. He’s giving her 30k a year to help raise their kid. That’s more than enough. Do you want her not to be financially responsible for herself and her kid at all?

These women are so stupid. They really think the children support hustle is gonna have them living it up. The courts have changed. Babies for profit only works for women who wanna dwell at the bottom. They don't know the different between a bust down and a wife.
Babies for profit only works in states that allow this shyt also, like California. Texas has a cap on child support at $1750 per month max and you'd have to be clearing over $250k a year before they'd order you to pay anywhere close to that much. That's why they call Texas the land of single dads, once these women get 6 months to a year of that they usually leave the kid with the dad and go live their best life and dad raises the child. That's why I laugh at all these posters on here that say women do most of the child rearing; here in the next 15 years your gonna see a HUGE pendulum swing on that one the other way. Most of these women don't really want to be mothers, most men would love to be fathers. I know a lot of men collecting child support or are the custodial parent... A LOT. People from other states I work with have told me the same thing how strange it is to see so many single dads with primary custody out here.
