You don’t an expert to know that people were going to bring up the legitimate question of why Griner got released and not Whelan even with it being out of Biden’s control. That’s still not going to stop the questions from happening.

I’ve said for months now that Russia had all the leverage which is why you had the US leaking information about the deal public so people would know that they were trying. Someone from Russia even acknowledged that aspect as well and called it out.
