Exactly. Like there aren't four different countries in Britain. A Scotsman, A Welshman, A Northern Irishman and Englishman sound mad different.
Hell, a East London accent and an Essex accent sound different and they are literally a couple miles apart.

I actually don't think their accents are overrated. It's the only thing that makes them stand out. Their sense of humour is more overrated but because of their accents, it makes everything sounds extra funny. alot of people also think you're smart if you have a British accent for some reason. funny because they are not smarter nor more street smart than Americans.
