Then explain to me why Christian Europe is far more scientifically advanced that Islamic shytholes?

Doing your best to equate Islam and science has fail written all over it.
Europe before the Moors ruled and were ran out much later.... :mjlol:

Comparing the state of the world now and the way resources are hoarded to back when countries more or less kept their own resources (before the 'great' conquest lol) says fail breh, manitude 9 fail breh.

The largest oldest Mosque in the world remains in Europe, Islam was very different as was Christianity back then who used things from the Pagans to please them and lull them into Christianity.

With all fairness, both 'good books' and religions have a occult knowledge that is highly misinterpreted today.

And the Sun runs to its resting place. That is the decree of the Almighty, the All-Knowing. And We have decreed set phases for the Moon, until it ends up looking like an old palm spathe. It is not for the Sun to overtake the Moon nor for the night to outstrip the day; each one is swimming in a sphere. (Surah Ya Sin, 38-40)

He created the heavens and the Earth with truth. He wraps the night around the day and wraps the day around the night, and has made the Sun and Moon subservient, each one running for a specified term. Is He not indeed the Almighty, the Endlessly Forgiving? ( Surat az-Zumar, 5)

That is some magnificent dictionary and semantics gymnastics you have displayed there my friend. Where does it mention heliocentrism in that passage? If anything, it borders on geocentrism.

The sun doesn't run to its resting place.

Take ambiguously written poetry saying the opposite of a scientific finding and try to convince others it's science brehs[DOUBLEPOST=1397600893][/DOUBLEPOST]
Muslims gave us the basis for modern math science technology... .

It wasn't the vast amounts of civilizations that pre-date Islam by 15,000 to 1000 years?

Why was my post deleted?[DOUBLEPOST=1397602333][/DOUBLEPOST]
okay but what about the two other main religions?

What about them? They are wrong as well. Of course all religions eventually guess something correct or do incorporate science of their day, but most of the time they have been contradicted time and time again.

I don't know about you but I think it's a big deal when a book that is supposedly dictated by the Creator of all things erroneously assumes that the Sun orbits the Earth. That sounds like a God who lives on Earth and is looking up at the sky.

If it helps someone it's right. Doesn't mean religion isn't flawed, it is. And the mindset of most religion discourages questioning, which is something that should be encouraged, which is basically what science does, which is why it should be encouraged.

The key part to learning is to accepting you're wrong.

yup.

why are they stuck in the dark ages then?

Surely for them to claim credit for modern scientific discoveries would mean they have used that technology to benefit themselves? NO?
You obviously missed your history course

The passages mention of the sun moving correlates with the Sun orbiting the galaxy, a cosmic year and the moons orbit.

lol, you all must not be stem majors if you think that Muslims need to be brought 'back' to science. Muslims gave us the basis for modern math science technology... Muslims are even the reason we know about Ancient knowledge as they were the first once to record and pass it along -- the rest was lost.
you are the third person to say this in the thread.

Because Wikislam is a credible source.

And you are? They made claims and provided scripture as well as other material related to their claim.

You posted something that supported a geocentric model while claiming the opposite. That's disingenuous my friend.

Where does the sun go rest exactly?
