They lost to the clippers cause parker and splitter were hurt AND Patty was coming off of rotator cuff surgery...the same injury that had Kobe miss a year...so yeah when you play a series with two injured starters and a still recovering 6th man you might lose it in 7...

They just lost to OKC...but no shame in losing to a team that went up 3 - 1 on a 73 win team and should have gone to the finals...

I like how you leave out that the year Kawhi sonned him, won the chip, and finals MVP...is the exact same year KD won regular season MVP...
Lol so you ignore Ibaka missing a whole 2 games in the 2014 Spurs/OKC series but bring up Splitter and Mills(who shot 50% FG and 57% from 3 in that series, which is why everyone was wondering why pop didnt give him more minutes) in the Clippers series. Why even lie and name drop Mills like he played terribly?

In the 2014 OKC series Kawhi averaged 11.8ppg on 49% TS, 6th on the team. Lower than Danny Green. His defense played a huge part in that series win, but lol at sonning KD. It was a team effort.

In the 2015 series, Kawhi averaged 14ppg on 41% TS(30% FG) in the last 3 games while getting torched by CP3. With HCA

2016 OKC series. You've clowned KD and Westbrook for blowing that 3-1 lead. But now there is no shame losin to a team had 12 less wins and -3 SRS levels lower? Nothing but excuses for Leonard.

OKC got blown the fukk out in SA w/ Ibaka in Gm 5, Ibaka wasn't going to save 'em from getting annihilated in Gm1/2. OKC lost Gm 6 at home w/ Tony Parker no playing the 2nd half & he was playing w/ a strained hamstring for the ENTIRE postseason. Ibaka also didn't have a debilitating injury as he was running like a gazelle & blocking shots in Gm 3/4.

In 2015, Splitter being out was a HUGE deal b/c he was the Spurs best PnR defender & all the Clipper do is run PnRs. Tony Parker also had the worst series by a starting PG in 30 year (I'm not no kidding, look it up). Danny Green & Diaw also couldn't hit an outside shot which meant they couldn't punish the Clippers for doubling Kawhi who started forcing shots at the latter end of the series. Patty played well on offense but he got abused by none other than Austin Rivers & Manu was out of commission by Gm 6.

In the 2014 OKC series Kawhi averaged 11.8ppg on 49% TS, 6th on the team. Lower than Danny Green. His defense played a huge part in that series win, but lol at sonning KD. It was a team effort.

Kawhi wasn't unleashed until Finals, Pop had him spotting up in the corner like Ariza until he had to slay LeBron. Diaw was the one that murked KD on offense when OKC tried to play small-ball & Kawhi shut his ass down in the OT period by holding the MVP scoreless. Danny Green also got worked by WestBrook in Gm 4 which is when Kawhi switched onto him & swung the momentum of the series.

He came out looking to finish the job on the road & let KD/Ibaka know about it right from tip off.

He also made one of the most incredible blocks I've ever seen on a 3-on-2 fastbreak against the most athletic PG to EVER play the game (rather than broken down Iggy) which basically saved the Spurs from having to play a Gm 7 which they would have probably lost considering Tim/Manu played heavy minutes & Parker left the game w/ injury:

In the 2015 series, Kawhi averaged 14ppg on 41% TS(30% FG) in the last 3 games while getting torched by CP3. With HCA

You mean when Doc decided to double him every time he touched the ball in the post after he wore out Barnes? "L.A. coach Doc Rivers sent a double-team at Leonard almost every time he touched the ball on the block."

2016 OKC series. You've clowned KD and Westbrook for blowing that 3-1 lead. But now there is no shame losin to a team had 12 less wins and -3 SRS levels lower? Nothing but excuses for Leonard.

Spurs face challenge of guarding OKC's stars

Big Dummy, Kawhi was guarding WestBrick whom he held to 32% shooting when he was the primary defender (the same Russ that looked like '93 Jordan in the WCF before he gassed out). Russ scored a bunch of point in transition when AARP Tim/Diaw/West were blowing layup.

Kawhi outplayed Durant in Gm 5 & it was Aldridge who went completely ghost after he blew his load in Gm 1-2. (Refs also rewarded Durant two FTs for committing an offensive foul w/ the game tied at 90 then topped it off by giving WestBrick an And-1 after he was intentionally fouled)

The only time Kawhi checked Durant was when he already rolling which is like being asked to put out a warehouse fire w/ a garden hose.

Nah because there isn't. Kawhi caught 0 heat for getting ran off by OKC last year despite being 2nd in the MVP. NObody questioned his toughness, leadership, any of the things that a guy like Bron or Chris Paul gets questioned for yearly. He gets the benefits of a star without the scrutiny

Choke-P3 has an embarrassing postseason resume including the worst loss in NBA postseason history where he got destroyed by Billups in 2009 after he had the best season of his career & no injuries:

LeBron had a monumental choke job in the 2011 Finals when he got outscored by Jason Terry.

When Kawhi had the best team in the league, he delivered by handing Lebron's squad the worst beat-down in Finals history while basically outplaying him in the final 3 games especially the pivotal Gm 3 in Miami.

Give Kawhi a loaded squad then you can judge him, he doesn't have it right now unless you think Parker/Manu/Pau are in their primes or Softridge is a superstar. Patty fukkin' Mills was the second best player for the first 2 months of the season & Kawhi still led them to the 2nd best record in the league.

What is wrong with yall nikkas? In every sport, every competitive environment where theres either a title at stake or money at stake, cats don't want to give others props. Shoot I just saw the netflix joint on hip hop where Kane said he was better than Rakim. Every dude in the NBA thinks he's an All Star if given the right opportunity. Every All Star thinks he's the best player in the league on any given night. Clyde Drexler still thinks he was as good as Jordan.

I'll let the number speak for themselves: http://bkref.com/tiny/CDqGT

Of course cats think Kawhi is overrated, especially when most of the props he gets are from supposedly shutting guys like him down. Shoot I understand Bron saying it to. Kawhi won Finals MVP for hitting wide open shots and guarding Bron even though Bron was clearly the best player on the court.

You must be talking about Iggy who was hitting practice 3s while being guarded by Mozgov; Kawhi gave LeBron the business in Gm 3 on BOTH ends where Lebron had 8pts & 7TOs in the last 3 quarters of a HUGE game:

-Offense:

-Defense:

LeBron was padding his stats in glorified garbage time in Gm 4-5 after the Spurs blew the game open in 3 quarters.

You got guys drafted into garbage situations that feel like if they had the same chance to grow organically and without pressure like Kawhi they'd be far better than him and its hard to disagree.

Richard Jefferson put up numbers on other teams & couldn't do Kawhi's job before he got run out of town.

lol thats not how sports works

Lebron is already in top 5 discussions among his peers and people that know basketball, with several dominant years left.

None of those guys were ever in top 5 discussions

sorry

yes they were there 10 players better then bron at least

To hate Kawhi is the true definition of a hater. Bruh dont do no trash talking, flopping, or complaining. He just got out and ball on both sides of the court. nikka aint even got superstar type endorsements. When you solid like that and start having success, it tends to bring out the bytch in other nikkas.
