I can tell some of y'all dont have kids in their teens and 20s...Look sometimes you fukk up...Just because you love your kid doesn't mean you like them...as a man you raise them the best you can and if they end up a fukkboy than all you can do is hope they recover...But let's be honest sometimes your kids just ain't gone be shyt but some leeches.

Don't get this idea that just because you are a great father it means your children will turn out great.

Yeah I can't ride with Brian Sr. on this one. I suspect that he had issues with his first wife and so he stayed away from the kids a bit due to touring.

He didn't magically become a better dad with wife #2. It's just that wife #2 got him when he was older and probably not fukkin around as much if at all. This is about the moms more than Brian.

Seen dudes like this. They neglect the first set of kids but take care of them financially (sometimes). Then they do a much better job with the second set. First kids get jelly because they're like "wtf." Men have a hard time admitting they fukked up.

Look at Karl Malone. Always been there for his Blasian kids but ignored his black kids. His son still forgave him and has built a relationship. Much better man than me because I am petty as fukk :russ:

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Black people in general have a weird ideal system
when it comes to child-rearing, collectively, It’s some, “Oh, you’re ___ age, now? You’re on your own,” shyt.

Some of it is because we typically don’t have the financial resources to be there for our children like that after a certain point, but Brian doesn’t have that excuse. Working in finance really opened my eyes to certain things. I’ve seen white people take out a second mortgage to give their kids 40k for a down payment on their first home. I’ve seen white people lose their jobs and their parents refinance their son/daughters car into their name, and start making the payments. I’m talking about kids that are 50 years old and shyt too.

No matter how big of a fukkup they might be — could you imagine a homeless Bush or one that was cutoff? Like, George W. was on some other shyt (even more so than Brian’s son), but just by proxy of being a Bush his family would never cut him off because it would diminish the overall “Bush name.”

He should’ve been the bigger man and let this shyt slide even if he intended to cut them off monetarily.

Dap and rep, I’m sure he’s got enough bread to look out for them grown nikkas even if they’ve fukked off opportunities. That’s not the way to handle your own seed

But if one of them nikkas pulled a hoe move like breaking into my house destroying pictures they’ll have to run me a fade :mjtf:

If you son turns out to be a fukk boy chances are you are a fukk boy yourself or you just didn't spend enough time around son

SOHH ICEY MONOPOLY
These kids are in their late 20s and early 30s and breaking in their dad's house to destroy his wedding photos or replace them pictures of their mom?

He raised some hoes frfr

Pathetic. I have an almost non existent, consistently tense relationship with my father who literally never saw his other son past the age of 1 and he bounced when I was 6, and I would NEVER :picard:

Them mankids are a sorry excuse if it's beef like that you shoulda jumped ya daddy on some pompano randy shyt!!! Not only did they get to see and hang out with their famous and generous dad WELL into adulthood, they gon hate on his new relationship and trespass in that man crib like some hoes FOH!!! I do feel sorry for the girl but until I find out if it was abuse or just her being a fast ass teenager ima hold my judgement

Man, everything you said is gospel. I’m fortunate to have the family I have. They made sure they gave me and my siblings every support network possible to make it into adulthood.

It may be more of a class thing than race but when I started hanging out with rich kids, the difference between them and the people in the hood was opportunity. Their parents, even the ones that came to the country with nothing, made sure they had every chance to exceed: trust funds, saved up money for their first home, college etc.

Now of course there were those that already had rich families, but for those who started off broke, they made sure their values when it came to finances were in the right place.

Chris Rock has a good joke:

“When you’re young, you’re mommy’s little boy. When you turn 18, you become that nikka around the house. Why haven’t you found a job yet.”

shyt is sad but accurate.
