Man if you bum ass niccas don't stop bringing up Anthony Lynn I'm going to lose my shyt.

I wanted Eric B after Lynn so yall can talk about boy wonder Staley all you want but Anthony is a horrible head coach and got too much time. shyt I wish we had Flores.
He got too much time? This the dude that helped with the move to LA and had to play at the Galaxy soccer stadium for 2-3 years with nothing but the opposing fans in the stadium. These dudes literally didn't have a home field until now and even then the opposing teams still occupy a large chunk of the attendance at SoFi. All niccas said is that he deserved at least one more year no matter what and that's it. They get the QB that he groomed and started without hesitation and named the starter going forward once Tyrod Taylor got injured on some freak shyt and then they boot his ass out for a so called boy wonder who throws games by not kicking field goals. Stop hating on Lynn you clown ass nicca :birdman:

Your fukking trolling bruh. Lynn specifically said the job was still Tyrods even as Herbert was showing out. See your way out of this and watch next time who you put the cape on for.

Herbert had the job hands down. Lynn knew it. The team knew it. The league knew it. He was just going by protocol. Tyrod was done as the Chargers starter immediately after Herbert's first series of downs under center. Chargers did Lynn foul and I don't give a f*ck what you say

I believe everything Flores says when it comes to Denver and the Giants and hope he gets a bag from the NFL. I believe him that Ross wanted the team to suck so we could get the #1 pick (so did all the fans, myself included)

However, he's off base as far as him thinking he got fired from the Dolphins because of race or his refusal to tank.

There's countless incidents one can point to as evidence that he just rubbed people the wrong way, despite being an otherwise good coach.

- We hired Jim Caldwell to assist with the offense and he quit before the season even started, stating it was "health-related". Rumors are that he didn't like Flo's micromanaging style.

- We couldn't get a coordinator that wanted to coach under Flores so we had to bring Chan Gailey's old ass out of retirement, who ran an offense tailor made for Fitz

- Then we fired Gailey despite the offense actually being decently productive somehow, and again couldn't hire a qualified OC that wanted to work under Flores, so we were forced to promote from within and had dual-OCs, who were incompetent

- Minkah Fitzpatrick demanded a trade after realizing he couldn't play for Flores

- He traded Kenny Stills after Stills continued to kneel for the anthem and criticize Jay-Z for the "we're passed kneeling" line, but not before playing 6 Jay-Z songs in a row at practice the next day to troll Stills

- Him and the GM were apparently not on speaking terms and Flores stopped talking to the assistant coaches for the last two MONTHS of the season

- He and Tua didn't get along at all and started screaming at each other at halftime of the Tennessee game

Not saying any one of those things deserved to get him fired, but in its totality, it's easy to make a case that he was fired for legitimate reasons. So ultimately he was let go for his inability to hire competent offensive staff, his lack of a relationship with the GM, and him not getting along with the QB.

Besides Andy Reid, the other 3 Conference champion coaches were 36,38 and 42.

He's also been coaching in the NFL since 2005, despite his age. Not to mention, Flores was only 37 when he got hired by the Dolphins.

Hiring young coaches, particularly from the Shanahan coaching tree, is THE trend in the NFL right now.

McVay
Kyle Shanahan
Matt LaFleur
Zac Taylor
Kevin O'Connell
Robert Saleh
Brandon Staley
McDaniel (probably)

Bro Flores specifically said he fell out of standing with the organization after he accept the 100k and kept Winning games.. He didn’t say anything about it being racist

I don't disagree with you, but I would imagine there has to be an element of race involved for him to include it in his class action lawsuit centered around mistreatment towards him because of his race (most of which I fully agree with him on)

The whole "I fell out with ownership because I refused to tank" doesn't make sense either. Every other coach in that hiring cycle got a 4 year deal. Flores was the only coach that got a GUARANTEED deal for 5 years instead of 4. Mostly because Ross knew we'd suck the first year and wouldn't hold it against him. If the owner was that pissed about Flores not tanking, he could've easily fired him after that year with us only winning 5 games and no one would've thought twice, it's not like we made the playoffs.

The crazy shyt is, if we did actually tank and get the #1 pick, Flores is probably still the coach because Burrow would be the QB lol

It makes perfect sense.. The owner wanted to tank for self profit the tried to bribe the breh and breh wasn’t having it.. That’s an outright federal crime

I get all that. Assuming that's the case, why not just fire him after that first season then? It wouldn't have been too difficult considering the team only won 5 games. The way Flo was coaching his ass off and with the amount of draft picks we had, it was common knowledge that the team was only going to be getting better. There wouldn't have been a better time to fire him. But saying he was fired 2+ years after the fact on some "the owner is still mad I didn't tank that one year" shyt is just Flo's interpretation of his tenure, when any Dolphins fan can easily point out 10 legitimate reasons his firing was legitimate, some of which I mentioned above.

Because of his rift with the GM, Chris Grier, the owner was forced to make a decision on who to keep. I said it on here at the time, but I thought they both deserved to get fired, but moreso Grier than Flores; and most Dolphins fans would agree.

he won games. That’s what you’re supposed to do right?

The dolphins got rid of talent in order to tank. In Flores first year they traded Minkah, Tunsil and Stills. They started 0-7, but finished 5-4 to end the season. And that’s probably why the owner wanted him to Tank so they could get the first pick. Then he goes 10-6, and 9-7.

Flores was basically hired like a lot of other black head coaches to simply fill to coach rebuilding teams. They come into those no win situations and get let go without being able to fully turn the team around. Then it’s damn near impossible for them to get hired again.

White coaches on the other hand get opportunities quicker.

Incorrect. Kenny got traded cause the team roster was set up to TANK. Also, Kenny had just called out Stephen Ross for his friendship with Trump/fundraiser with him while also running RISE and sitting on the players social justice coalition.

Chan Gaileys offense was mediocre at best, the defense carried the team that season with a huge turnover differential, Tua essentially finished the season after the team got back to 3-3 and he was ass, constantly getting yanked.

Minkah got traded cause he realized the dolphins fukkin sucked and has a horrible roster that season. fins traded him and got a first or a 2nd for him.

Youre honestly just running with all the talking points/leaked info that dolphins PR provided to beat writers and talking heads. lol

Tua fukkin SUKKED against the Titans, and deserved to get chewed out for it (if this is true)
