Caldwell is definitely one of the most blatant ever. Career 62-50 record as a head coach, coached in a Super Bowl. 4 playoff appearances in 8 years.

But he's been somehow out the game 4 years? ANY white coach with that resume would be getting more opportunities.

AND he got fired by the colts because….

they blatantly tanked for Andrew Luck and had an awful record

Mans got fired for losing then got fired for winning back to back.

Another thing is a big criticism was he’s not “fiery” enough, then when Flores gets fired they tried to make Flores the angry black man. They find any reason for us.

Him and Lovie.

Lovie gets fired at 10-6 and the #3 defense. Next season the Bears are the #30 defense.

Goes to Tampa first season 2-14, next season 6-10 with Jameis, gets fired because they thought the OC could get a job elsewhere. OC gets Bucs job, sucks, and gets fired.

Lovie out of the NFL.

Most of these teams firing black coaches end up hiring trash. They're not even upgrading.

shyt is sad man. The way Marvin Lewis was describing it on first take. Basically saying even if you don't really have a chance at the job you still gotta take the interview. I really have empathy for these brothas wasting their time with these phony interviews. Everyone points to Tomlin's interview and the Steelers hiring him, but it seems like he was an anomaly.

shyt is sad for real but hey at least the ratings are high. :beli:

I think people don’t even know what they want the NFL to do or for Jay to do and were just mad at about Kap and we’re mad about him doing business with them. That’s really what it is. If Kap doesn’t get a job then there’s no resolution and there won’t ever be one. What I always laughed at was people mad at Jay while continuing to support the NFL.

kenny stills: "He could have reached out to Colin,” Stills said. "He could have reached out to me. Some of the ways that he answered his questions, talking about ‘We’re moving past kneeling’ — like he ever protested. He’s not an NFL player. He’s never been on a knee."

i dont personally think everyone is just hating on jay. i'm not attacking what jay has done. he's done a lot of good. i'm attacking how he went about announcing the partnership. others have as well.

he had no idea what it's like to be a player in the NFL and put your livelihood on the line to go against the machine. but it didn't stop him from making blanket statements undermining what they were doing. he should have focused on his own business and left it at that.

Black coaches need to get together and speak out. There are so many great black coordinators (some with head coaching experience) that get no burn. But a car who has no coaching experience at all at any level has a better shot. How?
