So, where should I move too...the options are;
1. Back to the Netherlands
2. Paris
3. Sweden
4. Denmark

Why not make the election a virtual rerun of the referendum if the options were so dire? Haven’t looked at seat-by-seat results but it looks like he lost constituencies that voted Remain as well.

Can’t argue counterfactuals at this point, but we do see the results of the actual middle of the road strategy.

In any case, still waiting for a take that lays some responsibility for the scale of the loss with the leader :patrice:

Here's why that wouldn't work:

1. The vast majority of Tory remain voters prioritize a Conservative government over remaining

2. An apparent large majority of Labour leave voters prioritize leaving over a Labour government

Some people just want to watch the world burn, at least they're burning their own world :manny:

Right populism will beat anything then. You think meandering moderatism is the solution. As long as we're pretending the UK is the United States, Hillary already disproved this.

There is a strain of bitterness and resentment towards the status quo driving the right wing shift were seeing globally. I haven't been convinced doing more of that is going to win.

Mate those breadlines are a reality already. Never seen so many homeless before, and the fact that as an individua, someone was able to vote for a continuation of this. They deserve all the pain and suffering that's to come their way

Yup spot on. The homeless situation is ridiculous, I'm from up north and have never seen the likes before. I don't want to hear any crying about services and such when they end up even more decimated than they already are. The willingness for people to shoot themselves in their foot is staggering :mjlol:

Jeremy Corbyn has been a TERRIBLE leader of the Labour Party. Anyways, the UK (more specifically England) deserves what's about to happen to them. The economy of the UK is gonna crumble.

Also, I definitely wouldn't try to use this election in the UK as "foreshadowing" or "previewing" what will happen here in America next November. Boris Johnson is a clown but Trump is the whole entire circus. Also, the 2018 midterms already proved that most Americans are fed up with Trump, it's just up to the Democrats to nominate the right candidate in 2020.

Additionally, as a result of these elections, I believe that Scotland will be an independent country by 2025 and Northern Ireland will be reunified with the rest of Ireland by 2030.

It sucks for some of you UK Coli brehs and some of my family members though :francis:.
