A lot of them genuinely thought Brexit would be very easy because they think they’re superior to everyone else. They thought the Europeans would bow down to them and give them everything they want because “we are Great Britain” or the rest of the world would line up to trade with them. Some of them even had fantasies of restarting the British empire again :mjlol:

What they’re finally realising is how much the rest of the world despise them due to their arrogance. Hopefully they’ll abandon this Brexit shyt and come to their senses.
Bottom line once a racist cacs power dwindles, he's food because, why would anyone fukk with you?

Labour jumps in the polls calling for a 2nd referendum?
Nah, despite the overwhelming evidence that Brexit is a failed endeavor that will cost the state an almost 10% total drop in GDP over the next dew decades which will be a catastrophe, polling shows that Remain is still within the margin for error on a 2nd ref. It wouldn't push the needle enough. Tories took losses so bad in the last general because their messaging was fukking ridiculous, incoherent and mindless. They ran on shyt like bringing back fox hunting, they were completely out of touch with the air in the room and it backfired. It won't happen a second time.

I like Corbyn, but he's a bad leader and his non-stance on Brexit and his inability to reign in the pro-Brexit crowd in his party have left them completely and utterly ineffective as an opposition in an era where being the opposition to this gormless, gutless Tory party should be a slam dunk, easy W. Lib-Dems need desperately to find a charismatic leader and coalition with Labour or something quick, because time is running short.

At this point I don't even think no Brexit is viable, there's just no time left and nobody has the will to make a 2nd ref happen in the next month because the entire political class in the UK are playing hot potato with the grenade of Brexit because they know whoever gets left with it has their career/s end. They care more about those careers than the country they purport to serve.

Corbyn and some of his Shadow ministers are Euro skeptics, right? I've always thought they don't mind leaving the EU as it supposedly makes re-nationalizing things easier.

But the UK has had a certain degree of autonomy from the EU ANYWAY...

i wish i had the bandwidth to follow brexit.
i'm too invested in US politics at this point.

UK fukkery is gonna have to go on the back burner.
i'm keeping my eye on it though because it goes hand in hand with
the US 2016 election and the rise of the right in the EU.

i think russia overplayed it's hand in too many places in a short period of time.
then next few years are going to be interesting.

he's such a jackass, I saw a clip of him a speaking a few days ago, completely out of his depth

May has been getting torn to shreds in Parliament from both sides but no one wants to step back from the ledge or unseat May.

It's a travesty Corbyn is against remaining in the EU.

Talk about a country without leadership

It is quite surreal that we have long surpassed Suez humiliation and are now holding on to great tales about our ancestors proud endurance in world wars (forgetting comfortably on US convoys feeding us)...

All that because of too many polish waitresses and romanian car mechanics? Really? Cannot wait to be served in Costa by a nice local gal that just finished her shift at Jeremy Kyle? Pathetic.
