They thought the Europeans would bow down to them and give them everything they want because “we are Great Britain” or the rest of the world would line up to trade with them. Some of them even had fantasies of restarting the British empire again

What they’re finally realising is how much the rest of the world despise them due to their arrogance. Hopefully they’ll abandon this Brexit shyt and come to their senses.
