Yeah because bret set the world on fire when he won the belt in 92 :skip:

Bret was never the top guy in the company. Only reason he won the title at WM X was because Luger shyt the bed.

Shawn was the undisputed man in 96. I dont care about the financial well being of the company, ill let marks like you worry about it.

Shawn was always more entertaining and always had better matches with a wider variety of opponents.

But you hate shawn so its pointless arguing the point :pachaha:
Let the marks worry about it? He was the man only till November because he bombed and then they went with Sid Vicious. Back then...McMahon cared because making Shawn the champion made the WWF the #2 company instead of #1. Thank goodness for Austin and Tyson..who knows if they would still be here.

Michaels was getting outdrawn by Cruiserweights in 96..lol. A real chump.

Hastings Michaels doesnt reality or well known facts. Technically..he's not even Goldberg level.

Gotta be michaels

Since roman reigns is so awful

Killing the ratings worse than 1996

Mcmahon brought back michaels in 2018 to be the headliner..the main event and showstopper

With a bald head

Goldberg at his peak only looks up to Austin, Rock, and Hoegan as far as being a draw in modern North American wrestling. WCW hit its peak of profitability on his back.

But sure, use him as an insult. :usure:

I bring him up because he is bigger than Shawn Michaels. A novice guy who people labeled a Austin ripoff years ago.

And WWF didnt hit its peak off the popularity on Michaels back. He's historically a joke..that's why they bring up his matches all the time...to justify why he got a huge push that did horrible business.

shyt, the entire Kliq had their best matches with the HitGOAT :leostare:

Jokes aside always grew up liking both. Their WM match had me conflicted. Looking back though it's Bret's style that I always preferred personally, for the realism. Even his simple shyt like his punches or how he took those turnbuckle spots (:damn:) always came off hard hitting and real. His psychology was also A1, especially his big man matches. Believable by breaking them down. Think that's why I gravitate toward someone like AJ as the modern day GOAT. While more aerial than Bret, the realism is bang on.

GOATs gonna GOAT :wow:

The ring post figure 4 with the camera cable is one of the greatest needlessly aggressive moves ever :banderas:.

I never said WWE did anything on Michaels’ back. I very clearly said he and Bret were both failures on top. :leostare:

Goldberg was literally a bigger deal, at his peak before WCW ruined his run, than all but three guys in modern wrestling though. Bringing him up to shyt on almost anyone is some dumb ass revisionist history you’re trying because there’s objectively no insult in not being above him.
