Bret's heel mic work was tremendous, that 1997 run put to rest any doubt that he couldn't talk. Obvious he was a GOAT level wrestler.

Both are pretty equal in my book as time goes by..

HBK was always my favorite wrestler growing up but his voice was kinda annoying..his promos were decent..he was witty and always had good matches in my opinion.

Bret was a better promo to me than people give him credit for especially during his heel run. Matches were always great. he just seemed like he took his self a little too serious but he's still in my top 5.
