aew needs to make a point content and directionwise.
at this point, I like the roster. It just has no direction and picks up no legacy of the indy heroes at all.
when thee indy heroes still created Cody ever being a main event guy.
not to mention, aj styles.
by not using Daniels as the main cog. You disturb hierarchy and you also misuse Jericho. As the first thing wrong with all new wrasslin promotions. Is using the former wwe guy as the main eventer for the early setup. When you could use Jericho as the cog who is elevated via slow burn on the card.
why daniels is not the beginning. With the easy story of Cody destroying the cripple ache throne. Then Daniels in the chase to expose Cody is just like hhh.
instead, we are watching aew and it has no dominating story or origin. When to be successful, this company needs a origin story and the only origin story that makes any sense is Daniels. As Daniels is the guy who aew is really about. as far as a basic premise of the company and what it stands for grassroots wise. Currently aew is like a allstar unfocused current episode of roh tv.
when cornette took over after the original DIRECTV run.
it needs way better direction to launch a tv show.
that direction is Daniels. As Daniels is who all this indy shyt is about anyway.
the reason why tna did not catch on like it should have when it debuted was the same thing. Not making aj the main focus. When tna's whole story was being a larger promotion to feature aj styles. Instead we got dumb ass JARRETT all in the video. At least at this point alternatively if Cody pulled a JARRETT. It would make sense if it was attached to Daniels.
