The researchers, led by Tongzhang Zheng, found that men who reported using bodybuilding supplements with creatine or androstenedione had a higher chance of developing testicular cancer. “The observed relationship was strong,” Zheng said in a press release. “If you used at [an] earlier age, you had a higher risk. If you used them longer, you had a higher risk. If you used multiple types, you had a higher risk.”
I read protein was included and they asked if they used any of them with no indication of combinations.

protein in all formsl is expensive…its a food.
I dont fukk w/ cheap food or protein…your body is using that to live…why would you put trash in your body?

$1 per serving isn't that much money…thats pretty cheap actually.
I mean…you could just eat real food and skip the powder.

They suggest to ingest a gram of protein for every lb that you are. Being 200 pounds myself...how the fukk are you going to get that by eating regular food without going over your diet.

That's how they get you. A gram per pound out side of bulking (and think that's a bit much) seems excessive.

yea it's really Protein per LBM lb, and honestly if you're black that mess dont even apply to us, I avg'd like 150g protein for a year while cutting and retained a lot of muscle.

There is no real guideline….you have to play around w/ those numbers to see what works for YOU.

Im 200lbs (on a cut) and can't remember the last time I ate that much protein…on a good day I probably get about 160 grams…and I haven't lost any strength while on this cut.

This is the best explanation I've seen.

its a hustle. Whey protein is unhealthy and one of the most inferior sources of protein that we have access too. Its nothing but dried cheap milk and sugar, if you're going to go with whey protein you might as well just save your money and go buy gallons of milk from the store.

Whey protein is expensive because those companies have to make up for their marketing and packaging. Whey protein is literally pig food that's been marketed as some super anabolic must-have supplement.

It has its place (convenience, meal replacement) but at the end of the day 99% of fitness supplements are completely worthless

You don't need that much man. It's usually suggest as 1g/KG aka kilogram not pound. It's just your lean body mass.

This article that someone on here schooled me with changed my whole perception of the 1g per pound as well as some fitness people on youtube.

http://bayesianbodybuilding.com/the-myth-of-1glb-optimal-protein-intake-for-bodybuilders/

"There hasn’t been any recorded advantage of consuming more than 0.64g/lb. "

Thank you. You are truly a buddy, Omar :obama:

As for everyone else thanks for the advice but protein is still expensive as hell. :yeshrug: 2 pounds is going to cost around 20 dollars and that will last no more than two weeks with me.

All protein powders are the same breh. Big companies try to persuasive you into buying their powder, even though it's the same dam ting. That's why I invested 20-30 dollars into Body Fortress for a reason. Hey, everyone have their own taste.
