It personally doesn't bother me at all and makes sense scientifically

Let me correct you, again...
In taxonomy, they are generally called apes. Humans are included in these two families, but the term ape does not include humans in common parlance.
I was referencing later on in the video when she talks about genetic similaritiesThat isn't what I'm arguing at all.
What I'm arguing is the usage of inaccurate terminology, not the whole process of evolution.
It just baffles me that Christianity in particular is so clung to. Like it's so obvious in its ubiquity that it's one of the pillars of white supremacy and imperialism

84% with dogs.
85% with mice.
98% with pigs.
Hell, we share traits/genes with almost EVERY organism on this planet to some extent.
You are taking it like it's an attack on you. I just added people that were in the last couple of pages that spoke on what was in that videoThat also isn't my argument ....

Exactly.
Most people never bother to look at the entire title of Darwin’s book.
"We are not descendants of apes" "evolution didn't say we evolved from apes"We are not descendants of apes, we just share a common ancestor with ape's.

That's why I added everyone's name in that post to have a base level to argue or agree from.I have NO problem with the theory.
Just wish people would explain it better since it's a much more complex subject than can be summed-up on a message board using 'hot takes'.
"We are not descendants of apes" "evolution didn't say we evolved from apes"
even tho every science class literally got a poster showing humans evolving from apes
