Brehs...this east coast pipeline shut down/cyberattack could get REAL BAD. REAL FAST.

Oh god no

Yeah, I went to QT today with a few 5 gallon gas jugs and there was like four other white folks there doing the same thing. It’s possible shyt might be back to norm in a couple of days but I’m not taking any chances plus gas has already gone up by 20 cents in one day here.

PDS is actually a huge flop ruined my entire portfolio today :francis:

I’m so sorry breh. The whole market went to sht.:mjcry:

I will not urge you to hold. The market is pricing the hacking as a short term event because the physical infrastructure is still in place. Also, Biden’s push for trucking makes it even more temporary. We may enter a weird scenario where gas prices at the pump and the crude prices from out the ground diverge. :francis:

However, if you do decide to hold; June and July summer travel demand will give a boost to the oil stocks in a month or 2. Again, sorry breh:snoop:

Goldman and Morgan Stanley say it’ll barely last a week. They got the minor pipe lines at colonial running in 72hrs and they working on the main one now. If Biden’s regulation lifting on trucks and shipping don’t make up for the pipeline, then there are already talks to ship oil from EU at a 14-day wait. ( worst case)

Yeah I lost 6% already and can’t sell till the market opens tomorrow morning. So I’m projecting around 10-15% lost :mjcry:

Don't trust any of it myself..one of my intel friends is saying they’re scrambling like chickens trying to reboot the system still. If it all works out, that’s cool..the gas I got saved up goes into my vault with the rest of my backup supplies.

Companies never learn cheaping out on cybersecurity. I hope they lose their shirts.
:francis:
This. If people really had a grasp on the number of breaches that occur daily- it would be unnerving. I’m in the risk/data management field- info is compromised daily but companies don’t put an emphasis on data protection, cyber defense practices or implementation of corporate security awareness policies until it becomes a concern.

Last few months it was water being breached. Notice the pattern of water, oil and air.
Florida Hack Exposes Danger to Water Systems | The Pew Charitable Trusts A city worker washes down a street after repairs to a water line in Sacramento, California. Cybersecurity experts say water systems need to be vigilant to protect against hackers. A renegade mouse cursor signaled the danger at the water treatment plant in Oldsmar, Florida.

On Feb. 5, a plant operator for the city of about 15,000 on Florida’s west coast saw his cursor being moved around on his computer screen, opening various software functions that control the water being treated. The intruder boosted the level of sodium hydroxide—or lye—in the water supply to 100 times higher than normal.

Yep. The companies I've worked with either turned a blind eye or just buried any bad news concerning data breaches.

I wonder if cyber breaches qualify for whistleblower protection and those huge rewards?
:jbhmm:
I could hit a lick or two and retire.
